We are a small family owned Kennel situated on 1acre only 30min from Brisbane and our main priority is to breed quality Goldens which exhibit true Golden Retriever temperaments. All Goldens at IKENTRIEVE are Hip & Elbow x-rayed and have current Clear Eye and Heart certificates.

Our first Golden Retriever was bought back in 1999 from "IMATRIEVER KENNELS" here in Ipswich QLD.. Kajun was to be his name and he was pick from that litter..I had been to a few Dog Shows to watch and decided to enter him as well..His first 2yrs were practice for both of us,but once he turned 2yrs old there was nothing stopping him,he just loved to be there and he showed it ,especially with all the attention given,his temperment just stood out from the rest..

  His first 25pt Best of Breed was given from a Mrs P.Mowbray-Morgan from the (USA) at nearly 2yrs of age, and a few were suprised with his win as he was such a cream golden retriever at the time, but it didn't stop there...Now that he has matured,he has accumulated well over 1600pts,is now a  GRAND CHAMPION is QLD"S #1 HIGHEST SCORING GOLDEN RETRIEVER MALE for the years 2002,2004,2005,2006 & now 2007 and has been placed in the same years for the OZDOG SHOWDOG COMPETITION.

 To date he has been AWARDED: 82 CC'S which includes 63 BEST OF BREED Challenges (and most of them are in the high 20's),Consolation**BEST IN SHOW**RESERVE IN SHOW***10 BEST EXHIBIT IN GROUP**17 RESERVE IN GROUPS. And  his latest Achievment for 2007 is a ~~BEST IN SHOW~~ at the GOLDEN RETRIEVER CLUB OF QLD Show ~~JUDGE Mrs M.McLennan..

 **RESERVE IN SHOW**With nearly 800 entries which qualified him to be at the Dog of the Year Finals here in QLD being only the 3rd Golden Retriever to attend this event..So he's definatley proven & made himself  known here in Queensland and hopefully his progeny carries his Flare & Excitment.
